Frank and Herma Dusek, the owners of the Pickwick Hotel in downtown Anaheim, appeal the denial of their petition for a peremptory writ of mandate. They contend respondent Anaheim Redevelopment Agencys (Agency) certification of a supplemental environmental impact report and approval of the demolition of the Pickwick, a registered historic monument, violated the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). (Pub. Resources Code, Â§ 21000 et seq.) On this basis, the petition seeks to have both actions set aside and to prevent the Agency from proceeding with the acquisition and demolition of the Pickwick.
